Passport & Visa Requirements for This Itinerary

Important: You must have a valid U.S. passport to travel on this voyage. Passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your planned trip dates. For the most up-to-date visa information, all guests including non-US citizens and green card holders should seek advice from their respective embassy, consulate or Travel Agent to determine which documents are needed prior to departure. 

Visa is required for: Australia (ETA, Electronic Travel Authorization), Vietnam (label visa only is accepted, E-Visa is not valid for this cruise itinerary), Cambodia (label visa only, E-Visa is not valid for this cruise itinerary). In Russia a group Visa is obtained and provided for Viking Cruises Guests on Viking Tour programs. For individual exploration Guests will need to obtain an individual visa. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays of 180 days or less to enter Canada, no visa required for U.S. and Canadian citizens to enter New Zealand, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea if staying 90 days or less. No visa required for stay less than 30 days for Thailand and Indonesia for U.S. and Canadian citizens. US passport holders visiting New Zealand after October 1, 2019 will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA or e-Visa waiver) for visa-free entry into New Zealand.

Note: Viking is not responsible for obtaining visas nor for advising guests of passport, visa or other immigration requirements, so be sure to verify what is needed for your travels. You may be denied boarding or entry to some counties if you have not obtained the correct visas or documents prior to departure. Viking cannot provide any refunds for unused portions of your cruise/hotel stay or cost to change travel plans should you have missing or incomplete documents.
