Passport & Visa Requirements for This Itinerary

Important: You must have a valid U.S. passport to travel on this voyage. Passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your planned trip dates. For the most up-to-date visa information, all guests including non-US citizens and green card holders should seek advice from their respective embassy, consulate or Travel Agent to determine which documents are needed prior to departure.

A visa must be obtained prior to departure. It is NOT covered by Viking Cruises. Visa is covered by Viking Cruises Guests must stay with Viking Tour programs. For individual exploration Guests will need to obtain a visa prior to departure. Visa required for: Australia ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization), Vietnam (label visa only, E-Visa is not valid for this cruise), Cambodia (label visa only, E-Visa is not valid for this cruise). A group Visa is obtained and provided for Russia for Viking Cruises Guests on Viking Tour programs. For individual exploration Guests will need to obtain an individual visa prior to departure.

U.S. citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays less than 90 days to enter Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and with stay less than 30 days, visa is not required to enter Thailand**and Indonesia; no visa required for tourist stays of 180 days or less to enter Canada.

**Non-US passport holders may need a Thailand visa prior to departure, please confirm with your local passport office.

Note: Viking is not responsible for obtaining visas nor for advising guests of passport, visa or other immigration requirements, so be sure to verify what is needed for your travels. You may be denied boarding or entry to some counties if you have not obtained the correct visas or documents prior to departure. Viking cannot provide any refunds for unused portions of your cruise/hotel stay or cost to change travel plans should you have missing or incomplete documents.
